Work related – caring for the elderly, geriatric medicine, rehabilitation medicine, multidisciplinary teams, counteracting polypharmacy, occasionally the acutely unwell
Terribly cheesy tween things – High School Musical, High School Musical 2, High School Musical 3, Hannah Montana, Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus, Ashley Tisdale, Vanessa Hudgens’ fashion sense
Hobbies – the above cheesy things, attempting to be creative with photography, walking, playing Wii and DS, painting on (2×4′ MDF board!)
Fashion – particularly dresses, tights, scarves, boho, cali lo-fi
TV – The Hills, How I Met Your Mother, Big Bang Theory, X Factor, Buffy

things i dislike
Work related – shitty A&E referrals, A&E not doing bloods, cannulas, male urinary catheters, having to do a thousand lumbar punctures, having to work nights, worrying that one day I’ll have to be a grown up doctor
Celebrity related – Katie Price

Food – melted cheese unless on pizza or within a toastie, communal condiments, cutlery with separate plastic or equivalent handles… why not all metal… surely muck can gather in the bits?

2. I’m 25
3. I live in a large city in the UK
4. I had to move here from a lovely coastal town with beautiful beaches, I’m now all landlocked and it makes me sad, I want to go back to the sea!
5. I had to move because of my job… or I should say career, I’m a medical doctor
6. But can’t you be a doctor anywhere? Technically yes, but I wanted a training job and for some reason on paper I looked rubbish! So I ended up with a last minute job in my third choice of area. But it is a training job in general medicine
7. I want to be a geriatrician when I grow up because I love old people, they are medically and socially complex, you treat them more holistically and they are a genuine pleasure to care for
8. I live on my own, it is generally awesome
9. It is not awesome when I miss my man, who is also a doctor, in another big city, but he likes bugs not old people, he probably likes old people with bugs
10. I am the most unfit skinny person you may meet, my arteries are pure cheese, my outside is deceptive
11. I love High School Musical

14. I only wear skirts to work, I once wore a pair of trousers but felt so upset I had to go change (hospital accommodation) I promptly got rid of them
